Have you seen what Texas did? OK, maybe not the whole state, but a few of their special people. Co-Mission, based in TX, blessed us with 25 college workers and their sponsors/directors/construction men and women (mostly from Victory Life Church in Lubbock) this week. Have you seen the changes they made to the Children’s Ministry area, yet? They did an amazing and quick job of every project we threw at them! Contact the church office for a tour!

The labor for the projects was a free gift from Co-Mission. The materials, however, were our responsibility. If you feel led to donate towards the materials of these projects, please mark your checks for “Texas project materials”. Thank you!

We need a few more DOORBELL volunteers to help Pastor Keith with the increased amount of traffic in and out of DFC during office hours each week. A member of this doorbell committee would be a volunteer who would help answer the upstairs and downstairs doors anytime from 8:30-2:30, Monday-Thursday. Please let the church office or Halee Savery know if you would be willing to serve in this way.

For your information: Pastor Keith’s office and the secretary’s office have moved to the main church building on either side of the stage in the sanctuary. The annex will be the youth room and possibly CE rooms.

Mark your calendars for the 75th Anniversary Celebration of Quaker Ridge Camp, May 31-June 2 at Quaker Ridge, Woodland Park, CO. Free lodging at camp (meals $10 for 12 years to adult; $8 for children 3-11), benefit fundraising banquet (banquet free to attend, but bring your checkbook—it’s a fundraiser) on June 1.
